System: Linux Mint 17.1 XFCE. Kernel 4.1.2. Logged in as root.Container: ubuntu precise.LXC version 1.1.2
Attach command is:
lxc-attach --keep-env -e -n ubuntu -- thunar
get: xfce4-panel-WARNING **: Failed to connect to the D-BUS session bus: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-oUmyjU0fIF: Connection refused
dbus environment variables in container passed from host are:
DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS=unix:abstract=/tmp/dbus-oUmyjU0fIF
DBUS_SESSION_BUS_PID=4639
DBUS_SESSION_BUS_WINDOWID=4194305
Inexpicably /tmp/dbus-oUmyjU0fIF does not exist in the host but even if it did the containerwould not find it in it's own /tmp folder.
if I use:
lxc-attach --keep-env -e -n ubuntu -- dbus-launch thunareverything is fine
Not keen on learning the workings of dbus, just wnat to get it to work.
Thanks in advance.
Murray
