I am not an expert in fedora/centos, but maybe there is a hint in dmesg 
output ?
like apparmor or something similar preventing from running chroot ?

and what is in 
/var/cache/lxc/debian/partial-squeeze-amd64/debootstrap/debootstrap.log ,
just last lines ?
