Right.

If you reduce the isolation, the container is less secure because these 
resources are shared with the host, that means the container may harm 
the host.

That breaks the container paradigm. Also, the application will not be 
checkpointable. I think the right solution would to be to change X to 
use the posix ipc instead of SYSV ipc, so only the files could be shared 
across containers.
