I think the main reasons are:
- the patch for rc.* files;
- packages list;
- postinstall scripts;
debootstrap takes care of most of this, but we don't have it.

thanks! I changed the template accordingly (also in other parts, have a
check if you like) :)

we are playing a little too with video streams but we have an old
canopus that we use with some non-linux hosts: btw, I'll forward the
friend who's following this your hardware advice, looks good and cheap,
thanks also for this!
