Hi Harald, I think the 30 seconds could certainly be shortened. We just
didn't want monitord to be "long lived" so I just picked 30 seconds. I
can see why this is painful in your situation.

There isn't such a feature now, but it probably wouldn't be hard to
add, I'll look into it.
