[lxc-users] systemctl kill in container?

Hi all,

# systemctl kill -s HUP rsyslog.service
Failed to kill unit rsyslog.service: Input/output error

Is this a known/expected problem when running systemd stuff in a
container? It's used by the standard logrotate config for rsyslog in
Debian (buster at least), and means my log rotation doesn't work in
containers.

I've worked around it by using kill (though I should probably use pkill)
instead.
