The 3.0.3 version in Ubuntu 18.04 has now become quite old, expecially
since that was the first version introducing clustering and tons of
improvements have landed since then.

If you want to use clustering, please install the new stable LXD 4.0.0
which has just been released. You can install it on 18.04 using "snap
install lxd", but make sure "apt-get remove lxd" first.
