No, it is not. runC is not tailored to run system containers where as
LXC definitely is it's also a 11mb go binary whereas lxc-* is like 30K
something C binary.

I don't know what you mean by that. We as upstream will be supporting
LXC way past 2019. Where did you get that weird date from?
