[lxc-users] error: cannot read config file: open /home/anders/.config/lxc/config.yml: permission denied

This seems to be a recurring error.
After installing lxd on ubuntu 17.04 i finish the init process.
anders at yoga:~$ lxc list imageserror: cannot read config file: open
/home/anders/.config/lxc/config.yml: permission deniedanders at yoga:~$ 
Reboot or newgrp does not help, I used to chown my way in but why does
this keep happening?
