[lxc-users] Force container to use ip lxdbr0

Hello,

i am using lxd with the lxd bridge lxdbr0.

The goal is, to force the container to a specific ip (in the lxd bridge
range). I set up an LXD_CONFILE in the lxd-bridge configuration.

In the LXD_CONFILE i’ve:

  dhcp-host=testcontainer,10.204.119.5

But in my container, if i setup the eth0 device to static and set the ip to
10.204.119.200, the container gets also the second ip BUT i want to force
the ip’s to the containers (so i can route them to public ip’s
).

So i want that the containers have the ip address i defined in the config
file. How can i do that?

If there’s someone who can tell me how i set up p2p (as network device per
container), this would also work but there is no documentation about that.

The top goal is to give the container a specfic public ip which don’t need
to be configure inside the container.

Sebastian
