[lxc-users] Increase lxd-loop size

Ubuntu zesty btrfs host, xenial zfs containers. How do I increase the size of
the default lxd-loop pool above 10Gb?

lxd-loop/containers/dev    zfs 2.3G 1.8G 477M 80% /var/lib/lxd/containers/dev.zfs
lxd-loop/containers/docker zfs 7.4G 7.0G 477M 94% /var/lib/lxd/containers/docker.zfs

I've tried this below per container but it doesn't make any difference...

lxc config device set docker root size 20GB

root at docker ~/mailcow-dockerized docker-compose up -d
[...]
ERROR: failed to register layer: Error processing tar file(exit status 1):
  write /usr/share/locale/id/LC_MESSAGES/bash.mo: no space left on device
