[lxc-users] what sets http_proxy?

I've moved an offline container from one server to another.

Started it there, and trying to use curl:

# curl www.example.com
curl: (5) Could not resolve proxy: fe80::1%eth0]

It's because this variable is set:

# echo $http_proxy
http://[fe80::1%eth0]:13128


What sets this and why?

I didn't set it on the host (on the host http_proxy is empty) nor in the 
container.
