 In may case it happens consistently, not only once. And also if I wait several minutes before logging in.
It makes the container unusable.
But it seems that containers with systemd now work? So no need for upstart anymore?

Yeah, fwiw, i can reproduce this, don't know why.  Seems like upstart is
kicking us out.  It only happens if you log in very early, and only
once, right?
