[lxc-users] text editor joe in lxc vm

Hi,
can someone please tell me what I need to get the texteditor joe
(debian/ubuntu pkg "joe") to work correct inside lxc-containers.

It displays the edited file in a "garbled" fashion;
it's only a display issue I know, but all things I tried
(export TERM="xterm" etc.) didn't solve the problem.

Could you lxc powerusers and gurus pls try it and advice me.
(BTW other console text editors like nano and vim work fine).
