[lxc-users] netifrc without /sys

I'm getting errors in netifrc when running without /sys mounted:

some-container ~ # /etc/init.d/net.eth0 start
 * Bringing up interface eth0
 *   ERROR: interface eth0 does not exist
 *   Ensure that you have loaded the correct kernel module for your hardware
 * ERROR: net.eth0 failed to start

Because it needs something in /sys to work. Probably /sys/devices/virtual/net

1. Is it possible to only have /sys/devices/virtual/net without all the other
things in /sys like /sys/block/sda/device/delete and other dangerous stuff?

2. Or better is it possible to use netifrc completely without anything in /sys?
