It should be printed in the last several lines of output of lxc-create.

Snippet of lxc-fedora template file:
...
    echo "The temporary password for root is: '$root_password'

You may want to note that password down before starting the container.

Do you have tmp_root_pass under the container directory (e.g.
/var/lib/lxc/root)?
