I believe the main points are:

   - ephemeral containers by default
   - ability to have a git-like system of snapshotting and checking images
   in
   - and further to the 2nd point, the ability to share those snapshots as
   tarballs
   - (something from my personal side, is that not having to manage
   networking, rootfs creation, etc is a fourth massive plus)
