Yes, those are the manual way of creating them.

You can also try the centos template from the link I sent earlier,
rename it as lxc-centos, chmod 755, and put it on your templates
directory (usually /usr/lib/lxc/templates). Tested on Ubuntu host,
should work for other hosts as well.
