[Lxc-users] Grub error when setting up a current ubuntu cloud-image template

When setting up a current cloud image I ran into the following error:

/usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: cannot find a device for / (is /dev mounted?)

I tried it on our Development Server and my local system. Both lead to
the same error.

To recreate the issue:
sudo lxc-create -n railsonfire -t ubuntu-cloud
sudo lxc-start -n railsonfire
log in with ubuntu/ubuntu
sudo -i
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

Any idea how to fix this?
