I did
cat >> /etc/lxc-basic.conf << EOF
lxc.network.type=veth
lxc.network.link=virbr0
lxc.network.flags=up
EOF
lxc-create -n ubuntu1 -f /etc/lxc-basic.conf -t ubuntu
