Hi,

Good point. The commit this is related to (blocking -t none) was first
marked as unsuitable for a bugfix release due to causing a user-visible
feature change.

It was then pointed out that since the feature never actually worked, we
may as well cherry-pick the change, which I did but without looking for
commits that were flagged as "irrelevant" because of it :)

Anyway, pushed to stable-1.0 now, will be in 1.0.9.
