[lxc-devel] lxc.Container.attach_wait() capturing stdout (and stderr)

Dear LXC Developers,

please excuse me, I was not sure if this question belongs on the users or
devel list.

What's the "standard" way to get the output (stdout, stderr) from
lxc.Container.attach_wait()? The method returns only the exit code and
writes to sys.stdout and sys.stderr.
I know that I can temporarily set sys.stdout to a StringIO buffer but I
suspect that there must be an easier way.
