Yeah, the question is, if those links already exist, why is it not
returning EEXIST and if now then what?  Maybe EROFS?  Maybe we just need
to add that to the list of errors we ignore at that spot.  We need to
know what error is coming back though and that should be in the log
output.  Some of the other possible errno codes look reasonable to
ignore but not all of them.
