I would.

In the early days, before we had systemd or libvirt or whatever defining
the cgroups mount, I thought it was not there but then we had it.  But
there were other competing clients, such as libvirt.  I thought the /lxc
directory had been implemented to avoid possible collisions and I
thought, and still think, that's a good thing.

I'm surprised there are penalties for descending directories in there.
Is it significant?

Is this something which will be impacted by the cgroups rework that's
been in the press?
