<div dir="ltr">Hi Akshay,<div><br></div><div>For some strange reason, I've only just received your email, despite it saying that it was sent on the 15th!? Are you still having the problem? If so, it looks like the problem is around the networking (due to the VIF plugin errors from the logs you posted). If you are still having the problem, please could you indicate which version of OpenStack you are using (e.g. mitaka, ocata, pike), and what platform the LXD hypervisor is on (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, etc.) Also, how are you deploying OpenStack (manually, or using Ansible, Juju, etc.)</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks</div><div>Alex.</div><div><br></div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Thu, Feb 15, 2018 at 10:28 AM, Akki yadav <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:yadav.akshay58@gmail.com" target="_blank">yadav.akshay58@gmail.com</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div>Hello,</div><div><br></div><div>I have a running OpenStack setup on which I was able to launch VMs. But I want to move to use LXC instantiation. So, for that, I have installed nova-compute-lxd on my current setup of OpenStack with basic services installed in it. I have installed nova-compute-lxd on my compute node (Ubuntu 16.04), changed the virt-type to 'lxc' in my nova.conf and then restarted the nova-compute service.
