<div dir="ltr">Hello,<div><br></div><div><div>I have problems upgrading from lxcfs RC8 to RC9 or v2.</div><div><br></div><div>When upgrading, the installer shows the message:</div><div><br></div><div>Setting up lxcfs (...~ppa1) ...</div><div><br></div><div>and then every filesystem is mounted and the installer freezes.</div><div><br></div><div>I have three fs's which usually are not mounted, so three Thunar windows appear suddenly.</div><div><br></div><div>Last time, I had an usb memory plugged and it was mounted too.</div><div><br></div><div>In syslog I see lines about mounting all the fs's, but there are also these lines:<br></div><div><br></div><div>Apr  1 15:18:55 pc1 systemd-udevd[371]: seq 3564 '/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1f.2/ata5/host4/target4:0:0/4</div><div>:0:0:0/block/sdc/sdc1' is taking a long time</div><div>Apr  1 15:18:55 pc1 systemd[1]: systemd-udevd.service: Got notification message from PID 371, but reception</div><div> only permitted for main PID 5447</div><div>Apr  1 15:20:15 pc1 systemd[1]: message repeated 2 times: [ systemd-udevd.service: Got notification message</div><div> from PID 371, but reception only permitted for main PID 5447]</div><div>Apr  1 15:20:54 pc1 systemd-udevd[5447]: seq 3564 '/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1f.2/ata5/host4/target4:0:0/</div><div>4:0:0:0/block/sdc/sdc1' killed</div><div><br></div><div>The problem is that /dev/sdc1 is the boot/root partition. It is an LVM volume from which linux booted, so it is already mounted but It's like if the installer can't see it mounted.</div><div><br></div><div>Then, If I execute "sudo lvs" the command does not return, it freezes. So the installer is somehow blocking the partition.</div><div><br></div><div>I have a snapshot of the root filesystem too, I don't know if that is a problem, because grub also get confused and try to insert an option to boot from that snapshot.</div><div><br></div><div>Of course, I always restore the snapshot after every failed upgrade.</div></div><div><br></div><div>The system es Xubuntu 15.10</div><div><br></div><div>At work I have the same system and lxcfs was upgraded without problems, but the boot/root partition is ext4.</div><div><br></div><div>Any help or idea?</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks.</div><div><br></div><div>Antonio</div><div><br></div></div>
