<div dir="ltr">Hi All,<br><br>This is a period of transition for LXC unprivileged containers, LXD, Systemd and cgroups and its becoming difficult to track all the issues without intense knowledge.<br><br>I have put together an LXC and LXD support chart for various distribution.<br><br><a href="http://www.flockport.com/lxc-and-lxd-support-across-distributions">http://www.flockport.com/lxc-and-lxd-support-across-distributions</a><br><br>The main issues that need clarity:<br><br>1. Running systemd hosts and containers, and the role of lxcfs<br>2. cgroup management in systemd and the role of cgmanager,<br>3. Unprivileged containers and all the various bits needed - uidmap, userns, libpam-systemd, systemd-shim, cgmanager<br>4. LXD<br><br>The chart is based on testing on the various distributions , reading of the lists but it's far from complete.  I have possibly got a number of things wrong and would appreciate feedback. <br><br>I think could be useful to have something like this on the <a href="http://linuxcontainers.org">linuxcontainers.org</a> itself that is maintained. <br><br>Thanks<br>Tobby<br><div><span style="color:rgb(204,204,204)"><span style="color:rgb(153,153,153)"><br></span></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(204,204,204)"><span style="color:rgb(153,153,153)"><a href="http://www.flockport.com">www.flockport.com</a><br></span></span></div>
