</div>If you simply need a GUI, the EASIEST method by far is to:<br>
- install xubuntu-desktop on the server<br>
- install x2go server on the server, and x2go client on your<br>
workstation (<a href="https://www.google.com/search?q=x2go" target="_blank">https://www.google.com/search?q=x2go</a>)<br>
- connect with x2go client, selecting "xfce" as your desktop type<br>
