<div dir="ltr"><div>Hi all, </div><div><br></div><div>I've run into some unusual behaviors when creating/starting containers -- any help or suggestions are much appreciated. </div><div><br></div><div>- /tmp on the *host* is overwritten any time I start a container. </div>
<div>- shutting down a container via lxc-stop will perform a graceful shutdown of the host </div><div>- lxc-console to attach tells me it attaches, but it appears 'hung' - there is no login.</div><div>- lxc-ls --fancy shows me the container is running and assignd an IP. The IP is pingable, but I cant reach it via ssh</div>
<div><br></div><div>When creating a container, I noticed one warning/error "invoke-rc.d: polcy-rc.d denied execution of start". There are also a couple of errors on lxc-start -- the complete output is at the end of the message. </div>
<div><br></div><div>After lxc-start, /tmp of the host has been erased. </div><div><div><div><br></div><div>Some background: Was previously using lxc-0.0.7 on ubuntu 13.04. On the same box had installed dev builds of lxc to /usr/local. Upgraded the box to 13.10; after running into various issues accessing and creating containers, I uninstalled both the default ubuntu lxc installation, and the dev version . Manually hunted down some liblxc instances that weren't cleaned up. </div>
<div><br></div><div>Then I re-installed lxc via apt, and that's where I am now - what should be standard lxc-1.0.0alpha as packaged on ubuntu 13.10.</div></div></div><div><br></div><div>lxc-create output: </div><div><br>
