The upcoming ubuntu 12.04 pretty much works out-of-the-box as lxc host<br>
and guest. Enough for me to justify using it on my laptop since its<br>
beta days.<br>

As for other guests, I wrote what I did on my wiki. Centos5 and 6<br>
should be good example of what customizations needed for sysvinit and<br>
upstart-based distros. I haven't been able to get systemd-based (e.g.<br>
Fedora16) to work though.<br>

</div>I can't speak for the developers, but from my experience with other<br>
software usually this is one of the cases where users like you can<br>
contribute, and patches are welcome :P<br>
